Books/videos for kids about pregnancy and/or birth?I'd really like to find something to get DD and I talking about this birth. She may or may not be present for it; if she is I need her prepared. Any book/video recommendations? I'm also interested in kids' books re: pregnancy.

The only children's book I really liked about birth was Welcome with Love, but even that was only okay.

Huh, thanks!
Has anyone read It's So Amazing!: A Book about Eggs, Sperm, Birth, Babies, and Families? I saw it at the library today and only got a chance to see the cover, it looks like it's for 7+ year olds, but I was wondering about the part about birth.

There's another one on amazon called Runa's Birth: The Day My Sister Was Born that's apparently about homebirth, but I wonder how much and what it actually talks about. Anyone read this one?

Other than that it doesn't look like there's much at all. I'm kind of surprised. I was planning on showing DD birth videos on youtube, but I was hoping I could introduce the topic with a book...
Maybe I will write one!
Re: Books/videos for kids about pregnancy and/or birth?
I used to have a great one, I think it's called A Baby is Born. It was complete with photographs. I don't know what ever happened to it, I could definitely use it again. I really liked it, because it's for siblings, but it talks about the child's own birth. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it's called When You Were Born.

Sweet, my midwives gave me a book to read to DD! It's called We're Having A Homebirth, or something. It's great, DD loves it and it's been great for facilitating discussion!
