In the mood for letter writing?State senator Diane Savino spoke out in favor of marriage equality yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCFFxidhcy0&feature=player_embedded The New York senate unfortunately voted down the amendment that would have allowed gay marriage in the state of New York. Despite that, I think that Savino spoke well. Even though I'm not a New Yorker, and even though the bill didn't pass, I'm going to write a letter thanking her for her speech and for her support of that bill.
