What lullabies do you sing to your little one?When DD was a baby I used to sing Golden Slumbers a lot. At first I sang The Beatles' version, and then I heard the regular one and liked it more so I sang her that one. I sang her The Rainbow Connection the other night and she fell asleep to it. I remember turning every song that popped into my head into a lullaby, even commercial jingles, finding ways to sub her name in and make the song about her. Now there are still some songs that when I hear it I hear our version. Totally brings back the warm fuzzies of having a newborn. What did you sing?

I used to sing Cae this anarchist love song my friend wrote.
I wish I could remember the whole thing.
I know the chorus was

The words are a little silly but it really was a beautiful song.

I've always sang one of two songs, either Angel Standing By - Jewel, or my fave song of all time with my kiddos, Horses - Rickie Lee Jones

BOth kids have silly songs i made that stayed-

my stinky poopy pants - she was like a year and a half and cracked up every time when i made it.

For both of them i had a song/kiss game that taught them body parts-

I sang/sing both this hippie song called walk in the rain. My mom sang it to me! I also sing rockabye baby. I sometimes sing Ramona the song Ramona by The Ramones. Not exactly a lullaby though lol.
