So the grand miss Charlie asked if I would stop in, and I should, I miss this place. I disappeared off the face of internet land about a year ago, too burned out and too busy for any of it, I needed a break. But I've slowly started coming back, I'm now a mod over at LJ's debunkingwhite, I'm updating more often, and it just seems fitting that I should start migrating back here more often.

For those who don't know me, I'm Cristi, 25 (ack!) year old mama to an almost 6 year old Treyton and a nearly 2 year old, Theodore. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I work as a GIS technologist in engineering for an oil & gas co, and am about to go into my second year of schooling for geomatics engineering tech, which is like mapping and drafting. I'm also part of an aboriginal committee at work.

I'm aboriginal, and racial issues and aboriginal specific issues such as land encroachment, treaty rights, etc are my forte and focus. One day I strive to work in politics, either mainstream or with the Assembly of First Nations, or to work with the United Nations.

I started at GM initially with a pregnancy that miscarried at 3 months, I think I was.. 18? Wow, long time ago, I lurked for a long time and have been active since the pregnancy of my oldest Treyton. I've been MIA since the boards crashed, and am sorry to dear friends who I haven't seen since then. Love you all, glad to meet those who don't know me, and glad to be back-ish, and promise I'll stop in more often now
