Reviving Ophelia

I just finished reading this book and it's so good. I know it's usually recommended for parents of teenage girls, but I saw a copy of it at Goodwill for cheap and it looked interesting so I thought what the heck. It really pulled me in, like it was really readable for nonfiction. And it really made me think about my own life and my own experiences during my teens, and about the world my daughter will one day become a woman in. Really worth the read IMO if you get the chance.
Curious if anyone else has read it or has any thoughts about it?

I read it when I was 13 or so. I remember feeling less alone when I read it. It was like, wow, other girls have the same problems I do, it's not just me! I can't remember much else about it, I'll have to re-read it.
There is also Surviving Ophelia, and Ophelia Speaks which are by different authors but they all fit together.

That's awesome! My To-Read

That's awesome! My To-Read list is as long as my arm though. LOL! I'm curious about those books though...
