Member Banned.

There has been a discussion going on between the mods and the members of GM who are in the backroom regarding StarLightBlaze. We had a member bring some inconsistances to our attention when she first joined. Recently, this has come to our attention again.

After talking with the members in the backroom, we have decided to ban her. It was found out that she had many inconsistances in her story and lied about having an abortion. The mods discussed this with her and she confirmed some of what we knew (she was banned previously under the username Kristina). Due to the feelings and concerns of the members the decision was made to ban her. We would like to let the rest of the site know what has happened.

Individual members can decide to keep in touch with her outside of the site if they would like. As far as we know she is a real girlmom who does need support. But due to the lies and reregistering under another name after being banned we had to make this very hard decision. Feel free to contact any of the mods (there is a list in Greetings) or mod_squad with any questions.

Wow thats shocking and sad. I guess I don't understand what happened. She seemed like a good member and good friend to lots of people, and seemed to be someone that could really benefit from this site. She did send me pm's asking for abortion clinic info in Manitoba which I gave to her. Are we sure she lied about it?

But she lied about an abortion in the past, under a different screenname that had been banned. And, yes, that was one of the things that she admitted to.

She was banned for a reason, we had overwhelming proof and everything was verified by her. If you think there was a mix up of some sort, you can pm mod_squad and we'll look into your concerns.

I am not agreeing or disagreeing with her being banned, But I believe that she still does need support and friends, and I don't think it is very nice for people who NEVER even talked to her before, and NEVER had her on their MSN to add her JUST to yell at her for lies she has already appoligized for. If she is banned from the site, it should be done and over with, she shouldn't get anymore punishment from people when she is just trying to move on. Any info you may want, ask the MOD for, don't add her when you didn't even know her (which means you probally weren't affected by her lies), just to get mad at her for somthing that you had nothing to do with. Come on.

I'm locking this. I made the post so that members that were not in the BR knew what was going on. If anyone has any further questions please speak to a mod. Also, the mods do NOT condone anyone harassing her. And if any members in the BR are taking that information and passing it along to members who are not in the BR it needs to stop. It is against the rules.
