Well this time i WILL make it. I have that whole week of Thanksgiving off. So lets figure out a day!

Sorry to piggy-back on the thread, but I'll be in NYC on the 17th. I'll just be there for a day to take a licensure exam (I'm not even spending the night b/c it's too much cost/trouble), so I don't know if I'll really have much time to meet up w/y'all. But if I do have time between my test and my flight I would LOVE to meet some of you girls.

we can definitely meet up again, i would love to meet cae! are you coming to see the boy???? n e way let's figure out the details i should be going back to work around that time but hopefully will be free.

you know i'll be there will bells on! it'll be great to see you again, charlie, but i really want to see cae!!! it may be a bit cold to bank on a day at the park, so let's brainstorm an alternative plan for weather issues...

Well we diffenetly should plan to meet up and take the train together. make the ride easier.

well, the friday after thanksgiving is "black friday" and i'm afraid that traffic is going to be worse than usual- both for vehicles and on foot. let's say saturday, if that works for others. i wonder if there will be ice skating in rockerfeller center yet. i really want to do that will the kids! if not, let's start throwing out ideas for some weather-appropriate fun. i love having things to look forward too!!!

definatly. the last time i just took the train which may be easier. and i think DS was free. plus then we can really catch up while the kiddos take in the scenery.

sounds like a plan. yup, the kids are free. and sophia loved the train. the hudson line is so beautiful, trailing the river all the way into the city. yay!

i think that they have the ice skating but are the kiddos big enough yet?? they also have ice skating in central park which is way cheaper! idk it's hard to plan things to do in the winter ill keep thinking though

im thinking i might try to come! i've never traveled alone i will probably cry.

ok girls i need an update.... the exact day and also i am wondering how the heck i would get to NY.... i live in rhode island and im really scared about traveling there alone, i cant even drive somewhere 20 min away without getting lost, is there anyone who would want to meet and travel there together?? like i could meet someone at a train station or like any place at all. i really wanna go but im scared to be so far away with not even a clue how to get home!

gabriel does too, there was a fare by my house that had the traveling museum of natural history, gabriel would not leave the truck, so i promised him we would go to the actual museum.

natural history museum would be awesome!!!! sophia loves dinosaurs too. are you gonna bring your umbrella stollers this time, haha? we were all a sight to be seen, every time we descended into/ascended from the subway, we all had to stop and unfold the stroller, strap in kiddo, etc. I think we needed it though, their little legs could never have walked as much as we did. and god knows i CANNOT tote an extra 40 lbs around for more than, oh i don't know, 5 minutes So we're planning for Saturday November 24?

I am so excited!! What time and where should we meet. I like traveling somewhat together so we can all help eachother out, spend time commuting. Maybe Grand Central Station again?
