Google
Job Service and the state you are in ...

www.jobsnd.com (for ND)

and you will find your state's job service website. If you're on certain programs through your county, you can get lots of good supportive services through Job Service. I got $100 for clothes and they recently helped pay for $800 for my car repair! Obviously, it depends on state-to-state, but it's a good resource to remember. I also get $100 a month for gas and they do help with class training (like CNA), GED costs, college courses, tools for jobs, etc etc ....

If anyone has time, start posting up your state's job service website ... it's a great resource! They also have tons of referrals if they can't help you.

*They do a lot of stuff through WIA (Workforce Investment Act), Pride/PEPP (a program to help non-custodial parents get jobs, keep jobs & pay child support) and other grants they get through the Federal government.
