You can't spoil a baby!Hello lovely mamas. We all have been told countless times not to hold our babies too much or they will be spoiled... Well they are all wrong! You cannot spoil the baby. The reason you feel so drawn to holding your upset infant is that infants cry to express needs and our instincts are to meet our babes needs. Too much love is never bad. The things that can "spoil" an older child are not acts of love and comfort. If you're baby cries, hold them, or have someone else do so. Invest in some slings or just use a bed sheet. Each time you respond to your kiddo you give them reassurance that they are cared for and that their needs will be met. Your kiddo is more likely to become self-confident and independent because they know that no matter the situation when they need their mamas, we will be there.
