I'm not from Chicago.. I live in Madison, WI (which is only a couple hours away), but we get down that way sometimes because BD's dad and stepmom live in Bartlett (west suburb of chicago)..

I'm in Shullsburg, WI, which is about 3 hours away. I grew up about 2 1/2 hours from Chicago in Illinois.

Now that I am not in Mpls, GF is a bit of a drive, but I might go see my friend who lives there now ... she is going to let me know when Pride is (I think August or September ... )
